What this is

nostalgiar turns a photograph into a few seconds of handheld-looking footage. Everything happens in your browser: the photo, the depth measurement and the finished clip stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Your photos and clips

The photos you bring in and the clips you make are yours. Use them however you like.

Only use photos you have the right to use, and be fair to the people in them. What you make and where you share it is your responsibility.

The app itself

The app, its code, its design, the room and the way the effect is made are © 2026 nostalgiar. All rights reserved. You may use the app for your own photos. You may not copy, extract, resell or repackage the app or any part of how it works.

Paying

Clips made for free carry a small nostalgiar.com watermark in the corner. One payment of €4.99, tax included, takes it off every clip you make afterwards, for good. It is not a price per clip and not a subscription. The unlock works in the browser you paid from; on another device, enter the email you paid with and it unlocks there too, up to five devices per purchase.

The payment is taken by Stripe on its checkout page. Stripe handles your card and sends the receipt; nostalgiar never sees your card.

The unlock is delivered the moment you pay. By paying you ask for it right away and agree that the 14 day right to change your mind ends once it is delivered.

Refunds

If the unlock does not work on your device and we cannot make it work, you get your money back. Email [email protected] with the email you paid with.

No promises

The app is offered as it is, without warranty. It may not work on every device or browser, and it may change or stop at any time. Where the law gives you rights as a consumer, nothing here takes them away.

Law

Belgian law applies. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection your own country's consumer law gives you. Consumers in Belgium can also turn to the Consumentenombudsdienst.
